What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?If unable to keep your next appointment, please provide our office with a 2-business day notification (weekends and holidays not included) to cancel or reschedule an appointment. What are your regular business hours?Our regular business hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Please note that our office is open for lunch. How often will I be seen during my treatment?It is important that patients in psychiatric treatment are seen on a regular basis. Making regular visits, which may range from every two to twelve weeks, will help the psychiatrist manage the patient closely and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. Your specific treatment plan will be determined after your individual evaluation and will be decided upon by both you and your doctor.How do I get refills on my medications?Should you need a refill on your medications, kindly have your pharmacy fax a refill request to our office at (408) 402-0950. We will have one of our doctors approve the prescription refill and fax back to the pharmacy in a timely manner. A refill can generally be signed within a few hours during the business day. **Please note that a follow-up appointment must be scheduled with our office before a refill request can be approved. For any triplicate prescriptions, please notify our office via telephone a minimum of 5 business days prior to running out of medication. This will allow ample time for the doctor to write up a new prescription. You will receive a call from our office once the new prescription is ready to be picked up.What should I do in the event of an emergency?In the event of any emergency, please call 9-1-1 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.What is the best way to refer someone to your office?We always appreciate new referrals at Solutions Psychiatric Associates.
